The waterpark is ideal for younger children, up to six years old, while the lazy river is guaranteed fun for children and parents – mainly by the bar that is at one end of the path. The food and drink options at Ocean El Faro are very varied: in addition to the El Mercado restaurant (an international buffet open for all meals), you can choose whether you want an Italian, French dinner, seafood, different cuts of meat or participate in a dinner that is a real show at the Teppanyaki table at the Asian restaurant! And if you feel hungry after enjoying the clubbing, you can stop by Route 66 for a hamburger with soda or some fries and a milkshake. And you know that feeling I mentioned when we got to the lobby? It is repeated every time we enter one of the restaurants; the décor is something so impressive that the desire is to sit there as long as possible to be able to appreciate every detail!

STRUCTURE FOR WEDDINGS

Now, speak of the main point for you who are choosing a hotel to get married in the Caribbean, Ocean El Faro has an extensive beach of fine white sand, adorned with beautiful, tall and imposing coconut trees that, by themselves, already make up a good part of the decoration of the ceremony and party. The beach is the perfect setting for larger ceremonies, with more than 500 people, even the most intimate with the presence of only family and close friends. In addition to the beautiful beach, the hotel offers as an option for the ceremony a beautiful gazebo overlooking the sea, which comfortably accommodates up to 80 people. This gazebo is located in an area of the hotel where there is almost no movement of people, which brings a very intimate atmosphere to the celebration. The options are many: ceremony in the gazebo or on the beach; cocktail on the beach, near the lighthouse, on the terrace of the convention center or in a private area of the lobby, and dinner on the beach, in the convention center or, for a mini wedding, on the wooden pergola in the garden.

Regardless of the option chose, my tip for the couple is to stay at least for two nights in the Royal Master Suite Ocean View – an incredible and very spacious suite, where the bride can dress up with the mothers and bridesmaids, which always yields beautiful photos for the wedding album!
